How We Work

Fixed-build-then-retainer is the default shape of an engagement here: we scope and price a specific build first, and only talk about ongoing support once it is live and you have real usage to judge it by.

Step by Step

From Discovery Call to Ongoing Support

Every engagement moves through the same six stages, whether it ends after the audit or runs all the way to a retainer.

  1. 1

    Discovery Call

A no-commitment conversation about what is actually slow, manual, or breaking.

30 minutes, remote. We want to hear the process in your words before we look at any tooling. If it is not a fit — wrong stage, wrong problem, budget mismatch — we say so on this call, not after a proposal.

  2. 2

    Process & Automation Audit

We map the current-state process and rank what is actually worth automating.

The paid engagement ($2,500, credited toward any build) that follows most discovery calls. Deliverable is a process map, a ranked list of automation candidates with rough ROI, and a 90-day roadmap — not a sales deck disguised as analysis.

  3. 3

    Scope & Fixed-Price Proposal

A specific offering, a fixed price, and a written scope — before any build starts.

Workflow integration, a custom app, a business agent, a Private AI Appliance, or some combination — scoped from the audit findings, not a generic package. You know the price before committing.

  4. 4

    Build, in Staged Checkpoints

Delivery happens in reviewable stages, not one long silence followed by a reveal.

You see working pieces as they ship. Scope changes get discussed against the written proposal, not absorbed silently into a slipping timeline.

  5. 5

    Handoff & Enablement

Documentation and, if you want it, hands-on training — so the system is yours to run.

No black boxes only we can maintain. If the engagement included Team AI Enablement, this is where your team gets the playbooks and prompt libraries that make the system self-sustaining.

  6. 6

    Ongoing Support (Optional)

Managed Automation or a Fractional Automation Officer seat, if you want continuity.

Fixed-build-then-retainer is the default shape of these engagements: build first, then decide — with real usage data in hand — whether ongoing care is worth it. Nothing auto-converts into a retainer without you choosing it.

Remote-First, by Design

Discovery, process mapping, and most delivery happen over video calls and shared documents. Workflow integration, custom apps, business agents, and team enablement do not require anyone to be in the same room — the work is software, and it ships the same way regardless of where you are in the US.

On-Site Along the Front Range

The Private AI Appliance is the exception: it is hardware, installed in your building. On-site visits for that offering are available along the Front Range, Colorado corridor. Everything else on this site works the same whether you are down the street or across the country.
